How do I install Search & Filter?

Installing Search & Filter is simple and can be done in a few steps. Here’s how:

1. Download the plugin

1. Go to https://searchandfilter.com/ and login to your account.
2. You should be in the Dashboard section, where you can see your Search & Filter license and all available downloads.
   

2. Upload the plugin

You can upload Search & Filter using either the WordPress Dashboard or FTP.

Option: 1 Uploading via the WordPress Dashboard

1. Go to the Add Plugin page in the Plugins menu of your site’s WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Click on the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page.
3. Select search-filter.zip or search-filter-pro.zip from your computer.
4. Click Install Now.
5. After the plugin has been installed, you can either click the Activate Plugin button on the next page or go to the Plugins menu, then to the Installed Plugins page, to activate the plugin.

Option: 2 Using FTP

1. Download search-filter.zip / search-filter-pro.zip.
2. Extract the search-filter / search-filter-prodirectory to your computer.
3. Upload the search-filter / search-filter-pro directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard that you can find in the Plugins menu and then in the Installed Plugins on the WordPress admin dashboard.

You’re now running the latest version of Search & Filter and ready to start building advanced search forms for your site.

Alternative Installation via Composer

Search & Filter and all its extension plugins can be installed via Composer.
