Search & Filter comes with deep support and integration with all of core WordPress including the Block Editor, as standard.
Field Blocks
There are 6 field blocks available in the Block Editor:
- Search Field Block – including text input and autocomplete controls.
- Choice Field Block – including select, checkbox, radio and button controls.
- Range Field Block (Pro) – including range slider, radios and selects.
- Advanced Field Block – includes the date picker.
- Control Field Block – includes submit, reset, sort, load more and current selection inputs.
- Reusable Field Block – allows for re-using existing fields throughout your site.
These blocks allow you to build your fields and queries directly in the Block Editor, ensuring you never break your workflow.
Queries & The Query Loop
Search & Filter Supports the Query Loop out of the box, allowing you to create highly customised queries using our own query builder, and then connecting them to fields to create rich search and filtering experiences using the Query Loop Block.

Query loop variations are also supported via the Query Selector inspector control.
Full Site Editing
Full Site Editing (FSE) allows you to use the block editor to design templates for the archives on your site.
Search & Filter supports FSE and allow you to create rich search and filter experiences for your archives.
